A revolution in bone anchored prosthetics
The Luci™ Connector is a modular medical device intended to be used as part of the BADAL X™ system for lower limb amputees. The Luci™ provides quick attachment and release of the prosthesis as well as a reliable connection.
Bone Anchoring Device for Artificial Limbs
-
The BADAL X™ attachment method is also known as osseointegration and is an alternative for the conventional attachment of artificial limbs with a stump socket. With these devices, the artificial leg is transcutaneously attached to the human skeleton using an intramedullary metal implant into the bone. Bone anchoring devices for artificial limbs have been shown to have significant improvements regarding walking distance, prosthetic use, energy expenditure during walking, and quality of life.
-
The BADAL X™ system has several solutions for transtibial and transfemoral amputees (upper and lower leg). It offers standard-size implants to ensure quick delivery and reliability, but also custom-made solutions.
-
The Luci Connector enables the user to quickly attach, exchange, or release the prosthesis without needing any tools. When attached, the connection is safe and secure. It is elegant and lightweight, water- and corrosion-proof, and easy to clean.
-
The offsetplate is meant to help with alignment of the prosthesis compared to the body. This enables correct posture while walking. All offsetplates have a universal pyramid connection adapter to attach all kinds of prosthetics. The offsetplates are available in different versions. We offer the sizes 0mm offset up to 60mm offset, with steps of 10mm. The offsetplates 30mm and above can also be used for transverse (lateral/medial) alignment.
